Abstract Endophytic bacteria have been reported to roles as biocontrol agents and plant growth promoters. The application of endophytic in the form mixed culture [consortia] will provide better effectiveness than when applied alone. This study aimed obtain a consortium that is effective biological control for purple blotch [ Alternariaporri ], promote yield shallots. research was arranged completely randomized design [CRD] consisting 7 treatments with three replications. used mixture two strains Bacillus sp., B. cereus , Serratia marcescens, subtilis, Azotobacter, Azospirillum P. fluorescens . variables observed this included disease progression [incubation period, incidence, severity], [number leaves height], [fresh weight dry bulbs]. results showed C sp. strain SJI, HI, marcescens ULG1E4 JBIE3] G Pseudomonas fluorescens, Serratiamarcescens were best consortia suppressing disease, well improving
